John C. "Jake" Bradley's Obituary
Funeral Services for John Carlton “Jake” Bradley, age 89 of Henderson, will be held Tuesday May 21, 2019 at 2pm in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Cary officiating. Burial will follow in the Crims Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time Tuesday. Mr. Bradley was born November 13, 1929 in Laneville, to John H. and Annie Bradley and died May 16, 2019 in Pearland. Mr. Bradley retired from Champion Paper Mill in Houston after 40 years of service where he was a supervisor. He was a veteran having served in the U.S. Marine Corp, and was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie, his parents, sister Doris Junior and her husband Bill. Survivors include son Glen Bradley of New Caney, daughter Laura Talley and husband Syd of Cypress, son Larry Bradley and wife Sharon of Pearland, brother Donald Bradley and wife Patsy of Lampasas, grandchildren Jake Butler and wife Sarah of Pearland, Travis Butler of Tomball, Hannah Butler of Houston, Luke Bradley and Landon Bradley both of Pearland, great grandchildren Avery, Caroline, and Wyatt Butler, nephew Bruce Bradley and wife Teri Santa Fe, nephew Steve Adams and wife Sarah. Pallbearers will be Glen Bradley, Bruce Bradley, Jake Butler, Travis Butler, Landon Bradley, and Luke Bradley. Honorary pallbearer will be Larry Bradley.
