Edna, I've tried calling you but I will catch you, I'm sure, soon. I can only imagine how you are feeling at this moment. I wish I could be there to be with you. You and John had a long and healthy life together and got to travel and see so many things in your lifetime. I know that doesn't take away the lonliness and the hurt but I hope your wonderful memories can help sustain you through your grief. I'm so sorry I've been so neglectful keeping in touch with you. You know that I have always loved you and John from the first day I met you at The Kensington. I pray for you daily and will always. I know that John is in heaven and is as healthy as he can be. He's probably keeping God's beautiful green grass even more beautiful then it was and I know if there is a golf course in heaven....he's there. I love you Edna. My Uncle Johnny and Aunt Edna were an important part of my life for all of my life. I respected and appreciated them much more than they probably ever knew. My cousin Jon Iverson was so right in saying that our uncle and his brothers are the perfect example of the greatest generation. My mother being an only child-Uncle Johnny's sister Alice's daughter-left me with no one else to call family, love, cherish, and admire but Uncle Johnny, Aunt Edna, Uncle Gilbert, Aunt Barbara, and Uncle Iver. Today marks the day were now two of those most exquisite people are no longer with us! Uncle Johnny, a most admired man, has now joined Aunt Barbara with the angels! Uncle Johnny's departure from our lives is overwhelming, but we all must cherish the memory of such a great man, and remember how lucky we were to have him stand tall as the pilar of the Iverson family for so many years!
