Joel Robert Naismith's Obituary
Graveside services for Joel Robert Naismith, 59, of Longview, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Sept. 27, 2004 at Rosewood Park with the Reverend Gregg Zackary officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. He passed away Friday, Sept. 24 at his residence.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Naismith was born March 12, 1945 in Palestine, Texas to Joe and Dorothy Naismith. He was a resident of Palestine before moving to Longview 30 years ago. He was a machinist for Rexam Can Co. in Longview. Robert was a 32 degree Mason, and a member of the Hallsville Masonic Lodge #169, and was a Shriner. He was member of the Mustang Patrol.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Diann; Sons and daughters-in-law, Bryan and Sam Naismith of Gilmer and Brad and Tammy Naismith of Longview; Grandchildren, Fali, Makayla, Tanner, Baylee and Chloey Naismith; Mother, Dorothy Naismith of Palestine; Brothers and sisters-in-law, Tommy and Kathryn Naismith and Ricky and Rhonda Naismith of Palestine; several nieces and nephews.
