Joe Lynn Soape, 82, of Longview, went home to be with the Lord on May 5, 2010. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2010 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will before the memorial service at 1 p.m. Read Obituary

We are just learning of the loss of your father, Joe. He was a very special kind and loving man, and the Johnson family shared a long friendship with him and your Mom.
He always had a smile for everyone because we know God lived in his heart at all times. He has left a wonderful legacy in you and your children--a gift of Love from God.

I will miss my phone calls from Joe. He was always interested in making sure I was doing well and we discussed our families and kids and grandkids. He was an outstanding man of character and grace and was faithful his Lord to the very end of his life. He loved people and had so many friends that loved him back. We will all miss him very much.
