Joe Dearing Mosby's Obituary
Joe Dearing Mosby, "Daddy" age 65 of Longview, passed away June 30, 2012 at Longview Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born July 11, 1946 in Topeka, Kansas to Jack and Dorothy Mosby.
Joe entered the Army in 1964 at the age of 18. He served in Vietnam with the 101st Airborne Division and he was Honorably Discharged in 1972.
He made every day of his life an adventure. His passions were playing his guitar, the
outdoors, racing cars, hiking, and he spent many years competing in marathons and
triathlons.
Mr. Mosby was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Dorothy Pope Mosby .
Joe is survived by his three children, J.D. Mosby Dianne, Crystal Mosby, Leigh Ann Pinner
Richard; two brothers, Steve Mosby and Mike Mosby; two sisters, Pam Browning Jon
Yeager and Patty Green Lonnie; grandchildren, Alyssia, Jacqueline, Logan, Emily, Levy,
and Trey; special family, Linda Malnar John, Lisa Northern Paul, and James Lawrence
Karen; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members; and his best friend
in life, his German Shepherd, Tally.
There will be a time of visitation, Wednesday July 4, 2012 at Rader Funeral Home, Longview 3pm – 5pm. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home, Longview.
