JOE D. NARON
Joe D. Naron passed away October 23, 2007 at Longview, Texas. Joe was born in Marshall, Texas May 25, 1930 to William Arthur and Lena Belle Thompson Naron. A lifelong resident of Marshall and Longview, he attended elementary and junior high school in Marshall and was a graduate of Judson Grove High School. Joe retired as a supervisor for Southwestern Bell in 1986 after 37 years of service. He was a member of the Deer Park Masonic Lodge #1362 in Deer Park, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Madeline Crew and Opal Denton; brother, J.W. Naron; brothers-in-law, Ford Crew, Weldon Bill Denton, and Edward Shoemake. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Billie Prevatt Naron; daughter, Sherry Tucker of Hurst, Texas, daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Ricky Muirhead of Pearl, Mississippi, Teresa and Chris Fults of Deer Park, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Mike Naron and Lisa of Pasadena, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, B.W. and Ruth Naron of St. George, Utah; sister, Lou Dean Shoemake of Marshall; grandchildren, David Nettles of Houston, Dusti Nettles of Houston, Shannon Swindoll and husband, Lamar of Baytown, Texas, MacKenzie Tucker of Longview, Shelby Clampit of Deer Park, great-granddaughters, Paige and Madison Swindoll of Baytown, Texas; nephews, Brent Denton of Longview, Fenwick Buddy Ford of Marshall, Randy Naron of St. George, Utah, Don Naron of Trophy Club, Texas; nieces, Delores Hall of Hughes Springs, Texas, Pat Thorn of Dallas, Texas, Judy Seibert of Waxahachie, Texas, Linda Rucker of Golden, Texas, Cathy Mills of Arizona, June Farrar of Bull Verde, Texas, Joann Eldred of Santa Fe, Texas, Johnny Naron of Texas City, Texas, and Carolyn Denton Shaw of Longview.
Masonic graveside services will be conducted 10 AM Thursday, October 25th at Rosewood Park Mausoleum with burial to follow at Rosewood Park under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
