Joe Baker, Jr. went to be with his Lord on March 21, 2011. His memory will live on in those he left behind; his wife of 53 years, Shirley Baker; a son Gary Baker and daughter Teresa Baker; 7 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; a sister Cindy Beck and a brother Jim Baker; numerous nieces and nephews. Following retirement from A&A Coating he filled his days indulging his passion for photography and grandchildren. He will be remembered as a generous, steadfast pillar of strength, a wonderful husband and exemplary father and friend to many. His family invites friends to gather in a celebration of his life, Wednesday, 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Rader Funeral Home, Judson Road, Longview. Honorary donations may be made to Texas Children's Hospital, 6621 Fannin, Houston, Texas, 77030.
