Joe Ann Clausius' Obituary
Joe Ann passed away on October 22, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born October 15, 1946, in Tyler, Texas, to Ozell and Faye (Beall) Perkins.
Joe Ann graduated from Longview High School in 1966. She was an active volunteer with a variety of organizations at various times in her life including the Longview Jayceettes, the Longview Lobo Football Booster Club, the Eastern Star, her church, and the Longview Dream Center.
Joe Ann helped manage London’s Wrecker Service until the 1980s. She also managed several stores in the mall, worked at Papacita’s, in the Good Shepherd nursery, and was a sitter with the elderly.
Joe Ann was predeceased by her husband Wayne Clausius as well as her parents, brothers, and a nephew. She is survived by her son Chris London (Cathy) and granddaughters Caron and Christin London, nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, November 1, at 10 a.m., at Stewart Community Center Cemetery with Reverend Jeneille LaGrone officiating. The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home in Longview on Tuesday, October 31, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
