Mrs. Simpson and Steve,
As I do not have a computer, my friend is sending my condolences.
I am so sorry to hear of Joe Allen's passing. My family lived in the Indian Rock community before moving to Gilmer. I attended East Mountain School also and remember Joe as a very nice boy.
My prayers are with you and your family. May you lean on the Lord.
Sincerely,

Joe and Dale were so kind to my family. When my son was sent of to serve in Afghanistan and later Iraq they sent him and his friends in the 82nd.Airborne several care packages to make there life a little better. They did not know my son untill he returned fron his second war in three years and he could not wait to meet "thoes people from Texas".I will never forget there kindness as friends of my family. It is a pleasure to say that I knew Joe.
