JoAnn Hocutt's Obituary
JoAnn Hocutt, Also known as Mama Jo, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023 at the age of 88 in Dallas, Texas. She was born on August 15, 1935, in Tatum, Texas. JoAnn was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her son, Gary Linton; grandson, Joshua Parshall; granddaughter, Crystal (Parshall) Farrell; and great-grandchildren, Serenity Ferrell and Brayden Ferrell. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Murry and Wilma Adams; her daughter, Ginger (Linton) Parshall; and her husbands, Mack Linton and J R Hocutt.
In honor of JoAnn's memory, contributions can be made to the Tatum Cemetery Association or the Harmony Hill Cemetery Association. These organizations hold a special place in her heart.
JoAnn will always be remembered for her kindness and love for her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Pallbearers will be, Joshua Parshall, Sam Adams, Joe Gonzalez, Danny Joe Hocutt, Joe Isaac Gonzalez and Aaron Beall.
Honorary Pallbearers will be, Ben Nicely, Bobby Grigsby, Rayford Gibson, Darrell Hyatt, J W Parsons, Aaron Lane Beall and Shane Calhoun.
Graveside services for Jo Ann will be on Monday, December 18 at 2pm at Tatum Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held for her on Friday, December 15 between 1 and 5pm at Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
