Joan Tuttle-Copeland's Obituary
Joan Tuttle Copeland, 93, of Longview, Texas (formerly of Beckville, TX) passed away Sunday afternoon January 5, 2025. She was born April 11, 1931, to the late Henry and Evelyn Thompson in Austin, Tx. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands Charles Tuttle and Melvin Copeland. Survivors include her children, son Mark Churchill and wife Leslie of Hallsville; daughter Cheyanne Langley and husband Burt of White Oak; grandchildren Larkin Churchill of Longview, Mark Churchill and fiancé Taylor of Hallsville, Alex Fuller, Bren Fuller and their father Joey Fuller all of White Oak; as well as childhood best friend Betty Hosler of Richardson, TX and life long friend Maurine Briggs of Longview, TX. For those that know, we can not leave out her beloved Miss Kitty. Mother never met a stranger and always lived life to the fullest on her terms. The family wishes to Thank all of our extended family members, friends, but especially Visiting Angels (and previous Home Health Agencies) Ladies that cared for her daily for several years, Hearts Way Hospice staff and Summer Meadows employees for ensuring Mother was taken care of like a Princess.
Service arrangements have been made at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Road, Longview Texas on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, with family visitation at 1:30 and service at 2pm.
