Joan Hollomon's Obituary
Services for Joan Hollomon , 77, of Longview will be 2 PM Monday, January 5th at the Longview Church of Christ, 1401 Eden Dr. with Robert Johnson and Benny Bristow officiating. Entombment will follow at Memory Park Mausoleum under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Hollomon died Thursday, January 1st at a local hospital.
She was born April 6, 1926 at Sturgis, South Dakota to James and Merry Monpleasure Elmore. A former resident of Arlington, Texas Mrs. Hollomon had resided in Longview since 1958. She was a member of the Longview Church of Christ, a homemaker, and had retired as a teachers aide for the Longview Independent School District.
Mrs. Hollomon is survived by her husband, Dale of Longview; son, Danny Hollomon of Longview; son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Jayne Hollomon of Carrollton; grandchildren: Michelle Vinson, Sean Hollomon, Michael Hollomon, Kevin Hollomon, Mark Hollomon, and Jeffrey Hollomon; Great Grandchildren: Tanner, Tyler, and Garrett Vinson; sisters: Myrtle Elmore of Los Angeles, Phyllis Littlefield of Seattle, Washington, Lorraine Ketner of Atlanta, Texas and Beverly Johnson of Whitewood, South Dakota; brothers: David Elmore of Spokane, Washington, Dale Elmore of Casper, Wyoming and James Elmore of Bullhead City, Arizona and by a number of nieces and nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. Sunday afternoon 2 to 4 PM.
