Jo Katherine Cairy's Obituary
Jo Katherine Cairy age 87 passed away at Pine Tree Lodge Care Home, Longview October 5, 2012. She was born to Oran and Ocie Richardson July 15, 1925 here in Longview where she attended local schools growing up.
Jo was an accomplished seamstress and loved embroidery. She enjoyed baking in the kitchen for her family and working crossword puzzles. She was of the Baptist faith.
Jo is survived by her daughter Carrie Nell, son William Joseph Cairy and his wife Debra, daughters-in-law, Carol Ellis, Elaine Cairy, siblings Jim Richardson, T. J. Richardson and his wife Betty, Ronnie Kirkland and his wife Regina, brother-in-law Jack Offield, sister-in-law Fern Richardson and numerous Grand, Great Grand, Great-Great Grandchildren and a host of friends.
She is preceded in passing by her loving husband of 48 years William Len Cairy, sons Walter Kirk Ellis, Bobby Len Cairy, daughters Linda Louise Luttrell and her husband Richard, Brenda Sue Cairy and her husband Bill, son-in-law Curtis Watson, siblings Oscar Richardson and his wife Jean, Ocie Offield, Floretta Morrow and her husband Emmett, Jack Richardson, and sister-in-law Audrey Richardson.
There will be a time of visitation Monday, October 8, 2012 at Rader Funeral Home, Longview from 6 pm-8pm. Her funeral services will be Tuesday at the funeral home starting at 2pm. Interment will follow at Danville Cemetery, Kilgore.
