Funeral services for Jo Juana Houston, age 71, of Henderson, will be held Wednesday, December 5, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with the Rev. Ricky Ricks officiating. Burial will follow in Neeley Cemete Read Obituary
Jo was a dear special person. She always had a smile and a kind word to say, She was an awesome teacher and a positive influence in the lives of her students! I just recently learned of her passing and regret that I missed her service. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. She will be missed.

Even students who were not in her classroom knew Mrs. Houston's room was the one with all the critters! Hannah still remembers at least one hamster eating the curtains and, if I recall correctly, tales of ones prior doing similar acts! Mrs. Houston was such an excellent teacher, and we are blessed to have met her in the classroom - but we loved her outside of it as well and always will.
