Jo Ann Evans was born on February 23, 1943 in Winnsboro, Texas. She passed away in her home on Thursday evening, September 25, 2009 at age 66. She is a resident of the Lake Deerwood community near Jefferson, Texas. Jo Ann was a loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Jo Ann is survived by husband Ted Evans, children Gerald Haynes and his wife Jaunita Haynes; Curtis Haynes; Tejuana Taylor; grandchildren Paul Haynes; Chance Haynes; Kimberly Haynes; Krysten Taylor; Samuel Taylor; Rachel Shepard; Doug Shepard and his wife Marissa Shepard; Amanda Sheperd, four step daughters and many great and great, great grandchildren. The family will hold services on Monday, September 28, 2009 at 2:00 PM, at Rader Funeral Home of Longview with a visitation Sunday evening, September 27, 2009 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
