Ruth, Freda, and Family,
Your mother was such a precious and dear lady who always had a smile and something sweet to always say. I remember when I accepted Christ, she was just as happy as my parents were! I can still see her smiling as she wrote down information on the card. Your family has always been so special to ours. Our lives are more blessed having known them, and we have such dear memories being a part of their church where we received so much comfort, love, and encouragement. May God comfort and give you comfort during this time and the days that follow.

My deepest sympathy to your family. Ms Jimmye and Bro Slim were big parts of my life at Trinity Baptist Church several years ago., thru their ministry there, during the time I lost my husband, etc. His wit and her sweet smile were always present. You are in my prayers, and heaven is rejociing at the reuniting of these two special souls. May God give you peace and comfort. Connie Faulkner TBC
Ruth, praying for you and all the family as I learn of you Mom's passing. I didn't know her personally but I do know she raised a wonderful daughter in you. That is a real tribute and testimony to her. Thinking of you in the coming days. To God be the Glory!

May God give you peace and comfort during this time.

Prayers for the family at this time from Eddie and Linda Morrow. She is united with Brother "Slim" now!

Dear Ruth, Freda, and families, What a wonderful blessing it has been to live as neighbors to Jimmye and Slim these many, many years. They were always available to us when we needed a smile, counsel, encouragement, or down-to-earth advice given with a hearty laugh. We love your family and pray for your comfort and blessing in the days ahead. Cliff and Pat DeSain
Freda, my condolences for you and your families loss. I have not see you since High School but have great memories of your parent. I remember one time when the youth took on all the rolls of leadership for a Sunday, I was assigned to your mom. She was so sweet and gracious in teaching me what she did and why it was important. The two of them were a wonderful team.
God Bless and comfort you all!
