Jimmy Drue Wiggins' Obituary
Jimmy Drue Wiggins was born on July 14, 1946, in Atlanta, TX to William Hardy Wiggins and Norma Drue Wall Wiggins. He was the baby of the family.
Jimmy was raised in McLeod, TX, and graduated from McLeod High School in 1964. Following graduation, he pursued a lifelong career in the oil and gas industry. He had a passion for his job.
Church was another important aspect of his life. He was always a valuable member and could be counted on for support at all the churches he attended. Due to his job transfers, he was a member of many.
Above all, Jimmy was a family man. He is preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Brenda Lane Keener Wiggins and their infant son, Jimmy David. He was also preceded in death by his parents, along with a sister, Marcell Wiggins Gunner.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Lynn Hawkins and Lana Wiggins Pate; son-in-law, Lionel Kent Hawkins; as well as his sister, Annette Wiggins Eby; his brother, Bobby Joe Wiggins; and a score of in-laws, nephews, nieces, and cousins. Jimmy was a loyal husband, father, brother, in-law, uncle, cousin and friend.
A memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at Magnolia Memorial Park in Magnolia, AR with the Reverends James Moore and Jerry Dean officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
