Jimmy Loyd Hodges' Obituary
Jimmy Loyd Hodges passed away on July 31, 2018. He was born on February 20, 1937. A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at Trinity Baptist Church in Lakeport, TX.
Jimmy was welcomed into Heaven by his parents, Lloyd and Lois Hodges and his brothers Marion and Charles Hodges.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Hodges, of Liberty City, TX, his sisters, Tommie Lineberger and Jerry Sherwood of Hallsville, TX, his 3 children, Annette Hodges Knox and husband Mark of Frisco, TX, James Hodges and wife Teresa of Kilgore, TX, Missy Hodges Zimmerman and husband Phillip of Tatum, TX, 7 grandchildren, Adam Knox and wife Sarah of Rowlett, TX, Kimberly Hodges Beall and husband Joe of White Oak, TX, Kristi Knox Edge and husband Wayman of Archdale, NC, James Michael Hodges and wife Laura of Nashville, TN, David Hodges of Ft. Collins, CO, Britny Zimmerman and Zachary Zimmerman both of Tatum, TX, 5 great grandchildren, Canaan and Kalena Beall, Logan and Gamble Edge, and Ethan Knox. Also many beloved nieces and nephews.
Jimmy was a life-long resident of Longview and was retired after more than 40 years from Rowan LeTourneau.
