Jimmy Altman's Obituary
Jim was born on October 24, 1959 in Littleton, CO and after a short illness he went home to be with the Lord on November 1, 2014. Jim worked as an electrician and also in the oil and gas industry as a landman. Jim enjoyed the outdoors and enjoyed spending time hunting, fishing and camping, especially with his sons. Jim was a member of Pine Tree Church of Christ and had a deep faith that God was walking this journey with him and was going to lead him home.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother Karolyn Capps and his Grandmother Laura Ruth Johnson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Cammy Altman and his 3 sons; Joshua, Jared and Owen. Jim is also survived by his dad Dennis Altman and his wife Jean. Jim leaves behind a sister, Denise White and her daughter Jamie, sister-in-law Courtney Shelton and husband Jeff and their children Ella and Townes. As well as his in-laws Rodney and Pat Bertram.
Jim felt very fortunate to have had and be a cherished member of a large family to love and to have been loved by several cousins, aunts and uncles who will all miss his earthly presence. The support that Jim received from his church family at Pine Tree was immeasurable and gave Jim so much comfort and strength during his most difficult times. The family would like to express our deepest gratitude to all those who kept Jim and our family in their Prayers.
Services for Jim will be at Pine Tree Church of Christ at 12 noon on Wednesday, November 5, with a committal service to follow at Rosewood Park.
