Dr. Jimmie C. Bagley, 83, of Lake Cherokee, passed away on Tuesday morning at his home. Cremation arrangements are with Rader Funeral Home of Longview. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 4-6 PM at the f Read Obituary
Not only was Dr. Bagley a great physician, but Jimmy was also a great member of the Lake Cherokee community. He served on the Board of Directors of the Cherokee Water and was the President during his tenure. He will be missed, but leaves great memories for us to celebrate his time with us. Sincere sympathy to you Pam and the children. May you fine comfort in the great memories you share of your years with Jimmy.

I working for Dr. B for 10 years and have many GREAT memories. He loved what he did and was GREAT at it. He taught me so many things in the medical field that I will always use .I will always miss going in his office and telling him, "Come on B the rooms are full", and he would have to take his shoeless feet off of the trash can, open his eyes and say, "all right". He was a WONDERFUL man, doctor and friend. I will miss him always. Pam, may God give you comfort at this time. All our prayers are with you.

Every comment I have read on here is a true statement of what Dr. Bagley really was. He cared for his patients and not the cost. I remember one time I came to the ER at GSMC with a pain in my side that hurt so bad that I wanted to scream. My nurse called Dr. Bagley at home to let him know what was going on. He told her to give me a pain med and something for nausea and said this is what the nurse told me he said. " All she has is gallstones , send her home after you administer the shot." I knew what he meant by that. Nothing bad but all good. He use to fuss at me cause I finish my scripts he would give me. Dr. Bagley, you will be missed. Joy Sheffield Sullivan.
Dr. Bagley was an excellent physician. So much so that I drove to Tatum after his practice moved there. Our deepest condolences to his family.
He was a wonderful doctor to our family for many years. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.
