It was my distinct pleasure to be a friend of James throughout the years. His sense of humor and warm handshake will always be remembered.
Also, how we would reminisce about our service in law enforcement stood out greatly as did our military service.
James’ service with the American Legion was also deeply appreciated when he served as Commander of Post 140, and I was privileged to serve as 3rd District Vice Commander and later Commander of the 3rd District.
But most of all, James’ faith in his Lord Jesus Christ was “front and center” to anything else which was shown by his love of family and friends.
God speed, Brother James. You no longer have pain as you have been made whole and are rejoicing from the portals of heaven, waiting on us so we can fellowship for all eternity.
