Jim Bill McMichael
Jim Bill McMichael, 83, of Longview, TX passed away after a long battle with cancer December 4, 2014.
He is survived by his wife Beverly McMichael, her daughters Susan McDaniel and Loye Ann McKean and his children Mark and Mechelle McMichael and Cindy and Jerry Miller, along with his grandchildren Cody McMichael, Chelsea Miller, Haley McMichael, Shelby Allen, Mark Allen, Max McKean, Sarah McDaniel and Steven McDaniel.
Jim Bill was born July 16, 1931 at his childhood home in Murchison, TX to H.A. (Gus) and Willie Jo McMichael. Jim Bill served his country in the Air Force, then attended the University of Texas where he received his degree in petroleum engineering. He enjoyed a long successful career and retired as president of Axelson Inc. He enjoyed his retired life living on Lake Cherokee.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, December 7 from 4–6pm at Rader Funeral Home, Longview. Service will be held Monday, December 8 at noon in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum Chapel.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Jim Bill's life at the McMichael home, NF-28 Lake Cherokee, after the service.
