Jill McNutt Welty's Obituary
Graveside services for Jill McNutt Welty, 73, will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 26 at Rosewood Park Cemetery. Mrs. Welty passed away on Monday, August 14, 2017 in Tyler, TX. She was a longtime Longview ISD educator who touched the lives of many students during her career.
Mrs. Welty was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Wayne Welty, and parents, Aliene and Claude McNutt. She is survived by her daughters, Julie Welty Nguyen and husband Thien and Janice Welty Petree and husband Terry; siblings, James McNutt, Jack McNutt and Janice McNutt Kidd; 5 grandchildren, Mattie Tai and Alyssa Nguyen and Renee and Rachel Petree; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (act.alz.org) or the American Heart Association (donatenow.heart.org).
