Jill P. Motley's Obituary
Funeral services for Jill Motley will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home at 2pm. A visitiation will be held on Wednesday from 5~7pm at Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Jill went to be with the Lord in the late evening of Friday, October 12, 2018 surrounded by her family.
Jill was born on February 27, 1949 in Corsicana TX to Henry and Marceline Price. She had a heart of gold but was never shy about telling people what was on her mind. In her earlier life, Jill was joyous to spend as much time as she could tending to her garden and the hummingbirds who frequented it. Above all else, Jill loved her family; she always looked forward to watching to the Dallas Cowboy games.
Jill was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Marceline Price. Those left to cherish their memories of Jill include her husband, Marlon Motley; children Marc Derflinger and his wife Patricia, and Melissa Gunby; grandchildren Myah Leigh Ann Gunby, Brayden Neal Bolton, William Copley and his wife Jordan, Christopher Copley, and Marcus Miles; sisters Rikki Elmore and Nikki McCurdy; Jill’s memory will also live on in her great-grandchild.
