Jewell M. Freeman
Graveside services for Jewell M. Freeman, 94, of Brownwood, TX, formerly of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at Rosewood Park with the Reverends Doug Wintermute and Emmitt Barrow officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. She passed away Sunday, August 9, 2009 in Brownwood.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Freeman was born October 15, 1914 in Saratoga, TX to Sam and Minnie Pinckard. Before moving to Brownwood to be near her daughter, she and been a resident of Longview since 1968. She was a homemaker and a member of the Greggton United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ernest E. Freeman; brother, T. R. Pinckard; and sister, Verna Cornman.
Those left to cherish his memory are her daughter Janis Holland and husband John of Brownwood; granddaughter, Mendi McAuley and husband Jeff of Longview; grandson, Derrick Wilson and wife Katie of Austin; and sister, Carmel Brown and husband Delno of Boerne.
Pallbearers will be Don Abbott, Ron Jurenka, David Raines, Milton Cabbiness, Bob Wiley and Dr. John Hall.
