Jewell Ann Lazare's Obituary
Jewell Ann Lazare, of Longview, Texas, passed away June 5, 2019. Jewell was predeceased in death by devoted husband of 63 years, Lt. Col. Oliver Lazare, and loving daughter Marcelle (Lazare) Monk. Jewell is survived by sons Michael and Mark Lazare and grandchildren Jade Lazare and Alicia Lazare. Jewell was born on August 4, 1934 in Sulphur, Louisiana, her parents were Pete and Pearl Baque. Jewell left an eternal impact on every life she touched because of her caring spirit; she was also a captivating beacon of light to all. Jewell will be forever remembered by her wonderfully witty sense of humor and deep devotion to family and friends. She will be tremendously missed by all, she made our lives rich with unconditional love, laughter and wisdom. Jewell was truly a one a kind soul who will continue to watch over those she loved from heaven as she so beautifully did so on Earth. Her presence in our lives will stay with us forever through our memories of her spirit. Exodus 23:20 says, “I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”
