Jessie D. Evans' Obituary
On Monday, January 28, 2019, Jess Evans, loving husband and father of four children, passed away at the age of 71 at home.
Jess was born in Bogata, Texas on June 29, 1947, to Jesse Evans and Betty Wilson Evans. He had a long and successful career in the oil field business. He was an avid outdoorsman and family man.
Jess was preceded in death by his parents. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Linda (Sug); his four children Britt, Senia, Brad and Shelby; two stepchildren Jennifer and Chris; three sisters, Brenda, Betty and Jan; several nieces and nephews, and “Harley Pawpaw’s” grandchildren and great grandchildren and his dog Lucy.
There will be a celebration of life at 12 Noon on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at his home. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be sent to Texas Oilfield Angels, PO BOX 127, Henderson, Texas 75653.
