Jerry Wayne Gray's Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Jerry Wayne Gray , age 68, Henderson will be held Friday September 14, 2007 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home in Henderson with Scott Parton and James Stroud officiating. Burial will follow in the Rusk County Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Gray passed away Monday September 10, 2007 in Tyler.
Jerry Wayne Gray was born March 30, 1939 in Henderson, and was a lifelong resident of Henderson. He worked for Gregory & Cook Construction Co. of Houston for 31 years, where he was a pipeline supt. He was also a member of the Southside Baptist Church of Henderson. Jerry was also a 1957 graduate of Henderson High School, which just had their 50 year reunion.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jake and Lola Bell Ashby Gray.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Regina Moler Gray of Henderson, daughter & son-in-law De Ann Parton and husband Garry of Henderson, son & daughter-in-law Patrick Gray and wife Jennifer of Garwin, Iowa, brother Jimmy Gray and wife Toddy of Longview, sister Anna Jane Arthus of Henderson, grandchildren Kory Parton & wife Angela, Kelli Parton, Aaron Keller and Colby Gray, great grandchildren Tye Guerrero, Zane Guerrero, and Dylan Parton.
Pallbearers will be Brett Gray, Stacey Ashby, Rocky Skeen, Vernon Arthus, Mark Perry, and Rex Ashby. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Gregory & Cook Construction Co.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6pm until 8pm Thursday.
