Jerry Wayne Fincher
Jerry Wayne Fincher went to be with the Lord on Sept. 11, 2010, surrounded by family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Ernest and Roxie Fincher.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 at White Cemetery, Longview with Pastor Craig Evers officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview.
Jerry served in the United States Navy for 20 years around the world helping to protect our freedom. He served the Lord gladly, loved his family deeply and defended his country willingly.
He was an ordained deacon and a member of Jay Valley Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memory are his beautiful wife of 53 years, Mary Jane Head Fincher; children, Mike and wife Laurie of Hallsville, Charles "Butch" and wife Nancy Hallsville, Cindy and husband Kenny of Liberty City, and David and friend Sandy of Longview; grandchildren, Ashley, Jason, Molly, Jeffery, Rachael, Jonathan, Matthew, Curtis, Kendra, David, Daniel and Sarah; great grandchildren, Josh, Kimberlin and Benjimen; brother, Richard and wife Debbie of Bettie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
