I met Mr. Jerry in 1974 while going to Kilgore College, we both were working for Delta Drilling Company. I learned more from Jerry Smith than I did in school, and I developed a huge respect for him as a coworker and friend. He will be remembered in many ways by both Charlie Martin and myself. You were a great man to me Mr. Smith.
