Jerry Puckett's Obituary
Jerry Puckett, 71, of Longview, passed away on January 21, 2018 in Longview, after a sudden illness. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 26 at Providence Baptist Church, 4105 McCann Rd., Longview, TX, 75605. Garrett Craig of Grace Creek Church will be officiating. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Radar Funeral Home in Longview.
Jerry was born in Greenwood, Arkansas on May 2, 1946 to Jerald and Margie Puckett. He grew up in Ojai, California and moved to the Longview area in 1978. Jerry was a master of all trades but spent the last 35 years as Foreman of Dixon Ranch in Gilmer, TX.
Jerry’s love for his children and grandchildren was immeasurable. Jerry is preceded in death by his father, mother and older sister, Linda Valley of Iowa.
Jerry is survived by his son, Joe Puckett and his wife, Elizabeth of Arvada, Colorado; son, Jeremy Puckett of Longview; daughter, Cheryl Puckett of Longview; sister, JoAnna Chenjeri and her husband, Prakash of Ashland, Oregon; 5 grandchildren, Jordan and Tyler Puckett, Jacob, Natalie and Lauren Puckett and numerous other loving family and friends.
