Jerry Wayne Musselman's Obituary
Jerry Wayne Musselman, age 58, passed away on June 26, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of strength, service, and unwavering love for his family.
Born on May 4, 1967, Jerry was a proud U.S. Army veteran who honorably served his country during the Gulf War. His time in the military shaped his character-instilling in him a deep sense of duty, resilience, and patriotism that he carried with him throughout his life. Jerry was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Marjorie and Maynard Musselman. Their memory remained close to his heart, and he often spoke of the values they instilled in him-integrity, hard work and compassion.
He is survived by his two children, Landon Wayne Musselman and Kaydie Mareigh Musselman who were the light of his life. Jerry’s love for his children was boundless. He took great pride in watching them grow, always cheering them on with quiet strength and steady encouragement. Those who knew Jerry will remember him for the quiet kindness he offered without expecting anything in return and his love for the Dallas Cowboys. Whether it was a helping hand, a heartfelt conversation, or a story that could make you laugh on your hardest day-Jerry showed up for the people he loved. Jerry was grateful to have connected with his biological family later in life and is survived by his biological siblings: Marsha, Cindy, Billy, Teri and Eddie.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to his foster parents, Mark and Pam Taylor, for providing Jerry with a place of safety and stability-a home where he finally felt secure before being lovingly adopted by Maynar and Marjorie.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to know him.
A service will be held at a later date to honor his life, and military service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Operation Patriot Support in Jerry’s honor (118 Church St. Sulphur Springs, TX 75482)
