Jerry L. Thomas' Obituary
Graveside services for Jerry L. Thomas, age 65 of Arlington, formerly of Rusk County, will be held Thursday February 12, 2009 at 1:00pm at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery with Rev. Pete Thompson officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of the Rader Funeral Home of Henderson.
Mr. Thomas died Monday February 9, 2009 in a Arlington Hospital.
Jerry Lewis Thomas was born April 19, 1943 in Kilgore, He graduated from Gaston High School, and attended Kilgore Jr. College and Stephen F. Austin University. After
college he joined the U.S. Air Force where attained the rank of sergeant. Jerry was worked as a salesperson for TNT Trucking in Waxahachie, and was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents W.B. and Tina Mae Thomas, and a brother Clifford Paul Thomas.
He is survived by three brothers, Marshall Thomas & wife Evonne of Longview, Billy Thomas & wife Marie of Longview, Charles Thomas & wife Wanda of Bedford. Two sisters Joyce Atler & husband Al of Magnolia, and Bonnie Vineyard & husband Gerald of Amarillo, and several nieces and nephews.
