Jerry Kier
Memorial services for Jerry Kier , 70, of Longview will be held 2 PM Tuesday, October 4th at the First United Methodist Church in Mt. Vernon, Texas with Rev. Don Pellikan officiating. Mr. Kie r died Thursday, September 29th at a Longview hospital.
He was born September 6, 1935 at Rochester, New York to Edison and Gertrude Maine Kier. Jerry served with the U.S. Army 1954 to 1958 and was retired from the injection molding division of Western Electric Co. He had been a resident of Longview since 2001.
He is survived by his wife, Becky of Longview; a daughter, Jerry Sue Agan of Mt. Pleasant; sons and daughters-in-law, James Dale and Betsy Kier of New Port Richey, Florida and Richard Andrew and K.C. Kier of Garland; grandchildren: Christopher and Daniel Agan, Katie, Robert, and Matthew Kier, Amanda Schmitz and her husband, Tanner; Brother and sister-in-law, David and Aloyse Kier of Fairport, New York , a niece and several nephews.
