Miss Jerre,
When I read, I read that Mr. Jerry joined the Saints Triumphant, I was filled with fond memories. In the 1960’s, when you and Mr. Jerry lived in the garage apartment off Maple Street in Kilgore, Mr. Jerry taught me how to use my mouth to whistle so I could make music to myself, as well as how to blow a great bubble with my chewing gum.
Jerre, you and Jerry were part of the fabric of my youth, and I will always be grateful.
Thanks be to God for the life of Jerry Allen Jouett.
I love you and I bid you peace.

What a great dad he was! Talented, fun, spiritually grounded and so smart. His legacy lives on in our much loved Jouett family.

Sorry for your loss, Jeff. I recall your father fondly when we were in little league and certainly at LHS to say nothing of his living across the street from my grandmother. Sending you our sincerest regards. Eric Grimes and family
