Memorial services for Jerriel Pirtle will be held Tuesday, February 15 at 2:00 at Oakland Heights Church in Longview with Gregg Zackary, senior associate pastor at Mobberly Church officiating. Services are under the direction of R Read Obituary
Mr. Pirtle was my Little League coach and even though I was not a very good player, he made me and everyone feel part of the team and a contribution to the effort. Had the privilege of spending time at his house with his sons and always impressed with the family closeness. He was a great example for family and the business community.

We share so many wonderful and "fun" memories of Jerriel and you while we were in Sunday School together. The one memory that stands out in my mind is the love between you and Jerriel. It was seen and felt. You two were mentors for our marriages.
