Jerome "Jerry" Vaughn's Obituary
Services for Jerome "Jerry" Vaughn, 61, of Longview, will be 10 AM Tuesday in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd. with Reverend Donnie Sapp officiating. Interment will follow in Memory Park Cemetery.
Mr. Vaughn died Saturday morning at a local hospital after a brief illness.
Mr. Vaughn was born December 17, 1940 in Madisonville, Kentucky to Pleas and Bertie Vaughn. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church , was retired as a security officer for Longview Refinery and served his country in the US Army.
Mr. Vaughn is survived by his wife, Mary of Longview; sons, Eric Vaughn of Beckville, TX, Keith Tompkins of Madisonville, KY, Vernon South of Longview; daughters, Regina Corley of Longview, Tonya Watson of Longview and Jerri Lynn Vaughn of Longview. He is also survived by brothers, Don of Detroit, MI, Bob of Madisonville, KY, and Pleas Vaughn, Jr. of South Lynon , MI; sisters, Hilda Scott of Sinclair Shores, MI, Dean Hogan of Detroit, MI, and Cynthia Jolly of Joliet, IL.
13 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive Mr. Vaughn.
The family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Heart Association and/or the American Diabetes Foundation.
