Jennifer E. Fite Randolph's Obituary
Jennifer’s Journey began July 28,1967 when Drenon & Jessie welcomed their 2nd child, Jennifer Elaine. Her Loving parents taught her by example to love & serve the Lord. This led her to join the body of Christ as she united with the St. Paul Baptist Church of Tatum at an early age. She was active in Sunday School & the Youth choir. As she continued to grow on her spiritual journey, she became active in the Mission ministry until her health hindered her attendance, but not her work or spirit.
Jennifer’s educational journey took her through Tatum I.S.D., where she flourished as a student and athlete. She was a fierce competitor in the classroom as well as the courts, and the track. She received numerous academic and sports awards, as she proudly represented the mighty Tatum Eagles. She graduated as valedictorian of the class of 1985, receiving several scholarships. Jennifer’s dream of becoming a nurse started at Kilgore College and ended with a B.S.N. degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1992. This led to a 21 year career at Good Shepherd Medical Center where she worked as a Pediatrics nurse and ended in case management her last 2 years.
Another phase of Pam’s (a nickname often used) journey began when she welcomed her son Harold Xavier Whitaker to the world on June 8, 1987. She cherished motherhood and eventually found her travel partner when she became the loving wife of Randy Randolph on Feb. 14, 2003. She gained a daughter Gabrielle and later a granddaughter Janiya. She loved to travel with family and friends, which took her to many destinations she enjoyed, like Dominican Republic one of her favorites, and other destinations throughout the Caribbean, Mexico, and the United States.
Her mother, Jessie Murl Brown Fite preceded in death. Even though Jennifer’s journey has ended on this side, she would say to her family and friends who are left behind “Accept Jesus as Savior, Love & Live for Him and meet me on the Other Side, my Home in Glory, my Final Destination.”
Those that she’s hoping will join her someday and to cherish her precious memories until; Husband, Randy Randolph; Son, Harold Xavier Whitaker of Nacogdoches, Tx.; Daughter, Gabrielle Randolph & Granddaughter, Janiya Coleman of Shreveport, La; Father, Drenon Fite Sr.; Sister, Angela Fite; Brother, Drenon Fite Jr. (Tamara) ; Niece, Madison Fite; Nephews, Drenon Fite III & Cullen Jordan Fite; Special cousin Vickie Ingram; Mother-in -Law, Mary Randolph of Shreveport, La; and a host of loving family and lifelong friends.
