Jennifer was born on June 13, 1974 in Laredo, TX to Hollis and Rae Anderson. She passed away Wednesday, April 30, 2008, after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was mostly a life-long resident of Tatum and spent much time volunteering with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. She was a 1992 graduate of Tatum High School. She was also a 1999 graduate of Kilgore College School of Cosmetology, as well as getting her Associate of Arts degree in 2004.
She was a member of Living Water Christian Center Assembly of God. She was a devoted mother and aunt. She spent her days with the faith that only God holds the future and was determined to truly live and continue her goals and dreams through her illness.
It was her desire to live in such a way to show that cancer does not have to kill your soul, your faith, or your spirit.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her son, T J Pepper; maternal grandparents, Richard and Doris Brink of Vermont; paternal grandmother, Dorothy Boynton, and husband, Ray, of Vermont; paternal grandfather, John Anderson of Connecticut.
Those left to cherish memories are her life-long love, Mark Pepper; her daughter and joy of her life, Cynthia Pepper; a very special niece, Anna Hyde; her parents, Hollis and Rae Anderson, all from Tatum; sisters, Valerie Hyde, of Zavalla, TX, Wendy McQuilkin of New Milford, Connecticut, and Kendra Anderson of West Rutland, Vermont and their families; brothers, Brian Ambrose of Baltimore, Maryland, and Kyle Ambrose of Longview, and their families; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to count and very dear to her heart.
The family would like to express its deepest gratitude for the many who shared in Jennifer's life with prayers, support, and gifts during the length of her life as well as her illness. We would also like to give a special thank you to Dr. Lewis Duncan and all the nurses, doctors, aides, and friends at the Longview Cancer Center; Dr. Ben Mack and all at Longview Surgical Associates; all the volunteers
for Relay for Life; and everyone at HeartsWay Hospice. Donations can be made to the Longview Cancer Center, Relay for Life, or to the Truman W. Smith Children's Care Center.
