Jennie Lou Henderson's Obituary
Services for Jennie Lou Henderson, 95, of Tyler, formerly of Longview, will be held at 2 PM Monday, April 18, 2011 in the Rosewood Park Mausoleum with Reverend Jerry Turner officiating. Services are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mrs. Henderson passed away peacefully Friday morning at her home in Tyler. The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 4 to 6 PM.
Jennie was born on February 7, 1916 in Linden, Texas to Dr. Thomas and Eva Ford. She was married to James C. Henderson on November 4, 1934 and they moved to Longview in 1951. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Longview for many years before moving to Tyler in 2007.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James C. Henderson who passed away in 2007; 6 brothers, and 3 sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory are her sons and daughters-in-law, Jim and Debby Henderson of Tyler, and Ken and Mary Henderson of Highland Village, Texas; 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
