Funeral services for Jeff Thurman, 48, of Longview will be held at Ten O?clock Monday April 19, 2004 at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel 1617 Judson Road with Mark Gold, Ken Millet and Donnie Wells officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 pm at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Minden, Louisiana under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Mr. Thurman passed away Thursday April 15, 2004 in a Longview hospital.
He was born May 16, 1955 in Ft. Jarvis, New York to Eldon and Jeanette Thurman. H e had lived in Longview for the past thirty years and was an Engineer for Stemco Manufacturing Co.
He is survived by his wife, Marie Thurman of Longview; three step-children, Fancha Cox of Dallas, TX.; Shannon Baldwin of Kilgore, TX.; Blake Baldwin serving in the Armed Services in Georgia; father, Eldon Thurman of Minden, LA.; one sister, Phyllis Sheldon of Baton Rouge, LA.; his two dogs Magic and Bandit better known as the ?Boys?.
He was preceded in death by his mother Jeanette Thurman.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday April 18, 2004 from 4pm until 6 pm.
