Jeff "Ken" Brisendine's Obituary
Jeff “Ken” Brisendine, 78, of Lake Cherokee, passed away April 2, 2014. He was born to Jeff and Lillie Brisendine October 26, 1935 in Kemp, Texas. Ken was a proud US Marine Corp veteran and honorably served our country from 1953-1957 during the Korean War and was discharged as a Corporal. He later attended North Texas State University. Ken worked for and retired from South Western Bell. Ken was an avid golfer and enjoyed sports in general. He loved his family dearly and will be sorely missed.
Those left to cherish his memories is his loving wife Audrey Brisendine; his children Paul Carlisle and his wife Terri of Liberty, MO, Mark Carlisle of Longview, Brenda Davis and her husband Glen of Hallsville, Amber Taylor of Kilgore, Angela Tyler of Longview; grandchildren Kaleb Brisendine, Amber, Chase and Chelsea Carlisle, Brittany Plaschke, Stacy and Harley Sharp, Paige and Chase Burkett,
and six great-grandchildren.
Ken’s parents, four sisters and his son Jeffrey Stuart Brisendine all precede him in passing.
Graveside services will be today, Friday, April 4, 2014 at 2 pm at Elderville Cemetery.
