Jeannine Robertson Forrest
Mary Jeannine was born in Ferris, Texas June 3, 1934 to Edgar L. & Mary Lee Curtis.
She passed away on January 20, 2013. Jeannine graduated Longview High School in 1953. She worked at Stroh's Container Plant in Quality Control until she retired in the late 80's; she was then content staying home with her pets. She loved animals and devoted most of her life to rescuing and providing medical attention, food and shelter to countless stray dogs, cats, and other wildlife that needed help.
She is survived by her husband Bob Forrest; sons Jerry and Linnie Robertson;
daughter Vicky Prater & husband Jim, granddaughter Stephanie Harber & husband Daniel, great grand daughters Isabella and Elisabeth Harber; daughter Marisa Denton & husband Brent; grandson Justin Denton & wife Valerie and great grand son Carter Denton all of Longview.
Jeannine was preceded in death by her parents Edgar & Mary Curtis and Joe G. Robertson father of their children.
The family sends a special thanks to Dr. Rangu and his staff for their superior quality of care and attention they gave to their Mother.
Visitation will be at Rader Funeral Home on Judson Rd. in Longview Wed. evening January 23 from 6:00 until 8:00 with services being held in the chapel at Memory Park Cemetery Thursday January 24, 2013 @ 10:00 am.
