Jeannine Jasper Aills' Obituary
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jeannine Jasper Aills, loving and devoted mother, grandmother, and a friend to all who meet her. She was welcomed into the arms of her loving Father on April 6th, 2019. She left us while sleeping peacefully at her home in Longview, Texas, surrounded by her family. She was in her 90th year.
Survived by her loving family, brother Les Jasper and his wife Nelda; husband Richard Aills, step daughter Vickie Vacek, daughter-in-law Kathy Stewart, granddaughters Courtney and Olivia; and great granddaughter Caroline. Jeannine was preceded in death by her loving parents Leslie and Lucille Jasper, and son William LeRoy “Lee” Stewart III.
Born in Nacogdoches, Texas, her early years were filled with many achievements. Jeannine was an accomplished pianist, drum major, and active member in the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority. In her later years, she was a member of the DAR and Mobberly Baptist Church.
Most of all she loved her family, especially her beautiful son Lee. She is, and will always be a reminder of grace and beauty. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home on April 9th from 4-6 PM, and a noon graveside service will be held at Short Cemetery on April 10th.
