Jeanne Marie Donner's Obituary
Celebration of Life Services for Jeanne Marie Donner of Longview will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, in the Chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview with the
Reverend Scott Schulik officiating. There will be a private family interment following the service at Rosewood Park. A time of visitation will be at Rader Funeral Home Friday March 31, 2023, from 4pm-6pm. Jeanne was born May 22, 1944, in Elmira, NY to Robert and Anna Gee Edsall and was a longtime resident of Longview.
Jeanne was a homemaker and a very active member of Mobberly Baptist Church. She truly loved her church family and was a member of the Praise Singers and worked in the music department. She loved to do needlepoint and gifted numerous friends and family with a framed needlepoint saying “Praise the Lord” on them. she also loved making silk flower arrangements.
Jeanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband and soul mate, Marty Donner; son-in-love, Freddie van Reenen; sister-in-law, Charlotte Donner; and her parents-in-love, Paul and Daisy Young. Those left to cherish her memory are her loving and devoted children, Sarah van Reenen of Longview; Daniel Donner and his wife Andi of Leander, TX; Brother and Sister-in-law David and Duke Donner and their children of Millerton, PA; nieces, Ginger Cook and Chris Flitcroft both of Henderson, NY and Debbie Peterson of Rochester, NY; Sister-in-law, Diana Rackley of Lucama, NC; and lastly her best friend Sophie.
