I have always been attracted to people who have enough spunk to "tell it like it is" --and Frances Beavers was the spunkiest of them all. I have fond memories of our Native Plant Society of Texas meetings held monthly for years and always enjoyed being with Frances. She was a loyal member and I still make her recipe for the chopped olives/nuts/cream cheese spread she brought to our meetings. Ellen, I am so sorry for your double-loss this weekend of your mother and sister Jane in Conroe. Jane and my sister Barbara worked many years for the electric company and have still arranged the retirees' annual Christmas dinner together. Please know you and family are in my prayers...and I know our loving God will hold you close. Vera Garlough

Ellen, I just learned that Jane reunited with your mom today. What a heavy sadness for you to deal with, but take comfort in the fact that they are together, whole and well. I will keep you in my prayers. Sandi Hawley Martin
My heart is broken, but I rejoice and thank God for placing this wonderful, amazing woman in my life over 15 years ago. What a treasure she was to so many and what a beautiful legacy she has left behind. Thank you, my dear sweet friend, for enriching my life with your friendship, wit, wisdom and enthusiasm. I love you dearly❤️ Reba and David Smith
