Jeanette Taylor Pierce's Obituary
Graveside services for Jeanette Taylor Pierce, 82, of Longview will be held at 2 P.M. Monday March 11, 2002 in the Gilmer City Cemetery with Reverend Don Beebe officiating. Burial will follow in the Gilmer City Cemetery under the direction of Rader Funeral Home Of Longview. Mrs. Pierce died Saturday March 9, 2002 in a local nursing home.
She was born August 12, 1919 in Wichita Falls, Texas and had lived in Longview the past ten years moving here from Jefferson.
She worked for the Texas Human Resources for 20 years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Jefferson and the Longview Christian Church in Longview.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bill & Dusty Pierce of White Oak; Daughter and son-in-law, Susan & Raymond Ellison of Atlanta, Texas; three grandchildren, Katie Pierce of White Oak, Joshua Pierce of White Oak, and David Ellison of Atlanta; nieces, Eloise Lipman of Plano, Texas; Jane DeWoody of Latch, Texas; brother and sister-in-law Jimmy and Jo Pierce; niece, Dr. Carole Pierce and husband L. Patrick Hughes; nephew, James Pierce and wife Diane.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday afternoon from 3pm until 5 PM.
Pallbearers will be Josh Pierce, David Ellison, Ryan Lipman, James R. Pierce, Wayland Jones and Gary Lipman, Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Jones, Aaron Lipman and Bill Dewoody, Mike Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents Eloise and O?Neal Taylor, husband, Bob Pierce, twin sister, Jeanice Taylor Stratton, brother O?Neal Taylor.
