Jeanette Bellis' Obituary
Services for Jeanette Bellis , 68, of Gilmer will be noon Saturday, July 22nd at the Rader Funeral Home Chapel in Longview with Chaplain Jessie Cook officiating. Burial will follow at the Gum Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Bellis died Wednesday morning at her residence.
She was born May 19, 1938 in Hallsville to T.O. and Ruby Cochran Bullock and was a lifelong area resident. Jeanette was a homemaker, a member of the Baptist faith and for 47 years was a devoted employee of Brookshire Food Stores where she worked in the meat department. She liked antiques, collecting, and ceramics and spent many fun-filled times fishing and hunting.
Jeanette is survived by her husband, Gari of Gilmer; a daughter, Teresa Johnson of Longview; a son, Ricky Johnson of Longview; step-daughter, Patti Pitts of Salado, Texas; grandsons, Tanner and Logan Pitts; sisters, Barbara Parker of Longview and Dorothy McDonald of Hallsville; brother, Ronnie Bullock of Longview along with a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Rader Funeral Home, 1617 Judson Rd., Friday evening 7 to 9 PM.
