Jean Roberts Cammack's Obituary
Jean Roberts Cammack, 83, beloved wife and mother went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 23, 2012. She was married to Milton Cammack of Longview and is survived by him. She is also survived by her daughters, Susan Roberts and Jodi Caple and husband, Lee; grandchildren, Jimmy Caple and wife, Laura, Carolyn Caple, Catherine Glowa and husband, Drew; her brother, Richard Foreman and nephew, Christian Foreman; Milton's six sons, James and wife, Sara, Calvin, Tony and wife, Linda, Casey and wife, Esther, RobertBob and wife, Leslie, and Jason and wife, Lauren and their children and grandchildren; she is also survived by her "sisters" Maxyne Cammack and Barbara Bodmer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Swan and Ebba Foreman and her older brother, Robert Foreman.
Jean was born in Chicago on March 31, 1929 and was a longtime Longview resident. She was an accomplished dancer in high school and attended the Katharine Gibbs School and worked as an executive secretary. She enjoyed gardening and was a longtime member of a local garden club. She was an active member at Pinecrest Country Club and loved playing bridge with friends. She also was an active member of First United Methodist Church and the Newnham Sunday School Class.
Jean was a loving friend to all who knew her. She will be most remembered for her warm, inviting smile and loving sweet disposition. She was one of the kindest people you could ever hope to meet.
Memorial services will be 11 am Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at the First United Methodist Church with Reverend Michael Schutz officiating under direction of Rader Funeral Home. Private family burial will be at Memory Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 until 7 pm.
