Graveside services for Jean Brown “Grammy”, 74, of Longview will be 4 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Danville Cemetery in Kilgore, TX with Rev. Jeneille LaGrone officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2023. Mrs. Brown passed away Monday, May 8, 2023 in Longview
Mrs. Brown was born July 14, 1948 in Kilgore, Texas. She retired from Good Shepherd Ambulatory Surgical Center. Grammy loved her family and grandchildren more than anything in this world. They were her entire life and it brought her much joy watching them all grow up and succeed. Her greatest joy was that all five of them were going to be college graduates and have successful careers
She is preceded in death by her parents AW and Billie Higginbotham, her loving husband Kenneth D. Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Miller of Longview; son, Scot Brown and his wife, Meredeth of Kilgore; her precious grandchildren Hannah Miller, Julia Miller, Matthew Miller, Courtlyn Brown, Michael Brown and his fiance’ Taylor Locke; and her sister Cindy Massey.
